HomeOS provides a home maintenance plan and reminders generated from your answers. It is an organizing tool, not professional advice: it does not replace a building inspector, an electrician, a plumber or another specialist. Frequencies and dates are general recommendations.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential. You must be of legal age to subscribe.
After a 30-day free trial, the subscription is billed $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year (taxes extra, where applicable) through your App Store or Google Play account, and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Some reminders offer links to stores (for example Amazon, Canadian Tire or Home Depot). If you buy through these links, HomeOS may receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Prices and availability are the store's; HomeOS is not a party to the sale.
The “request a quote” feature sends your request (type of work, answers, photos and city) to verified professionals. Your phone number and the address of the work are shared only with the professionals who take your request. HomeOS is paid by the professionals who choose to take a request; this does not change the price you pay. HomeOS is not the employer of these professionals and is not responsible for the quality of their work; the agreement is made directly between you and them.
The photos and documents you add belong to you. You only allow us to store them and show them back to you. Only add content you have the right to keep.
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, HomeOS is not liable for damage resulting from a missed reminder, an inaccurate date or a service outage.
You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend an account in case of abuse.
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec.
